For years, Christmas has been a reminder of heartbreak for both Eryk and Thalia. Each has faced loss during the holidays, leaving little room for joy or hope.

Every winter, wolf shifters from around the world gather for the Moonlight Festival, a tradition meant to bring together those seeking their true mate—or a second chance at one. As the alpha for the town hosting the festival, Eryk is dreading the festival but knows that it is an important time for shifters all over the world. When he comes across Thalia, the beautiful she wolf he hires for her pastry skills for the festival, his disinterested and mourning wolf suddenly awakens.

Thalia is stunned by the appearance of the alpha that reminds her so much of what she lost and while she is tempted to hide herself away, the festival was her only chance to fulfill her life long dreams. When fate unexpectedly throws a snowstorm at them, keeping them in close proximity, they are forced to confront the past they’ve tried to leave behind. The connection between them deepens, offering the possibility of healing and a future neither planned for.

But fate does not promise easy endings. Eryk and Thalia must decide whether to embrace what has been offered to them—or walk away before Christmas takes another thing from them.
