The Moxie Kid

It's a few weeks before the start of sixth grade. The summer has nothing going for it, and Jonathan Wigget is trapped with his little brother ("the Pest") and their babysitter, a sixteen year old "drill sergeant" named Whitney. But when Mr. Caliberti comes around the corner and bellows at Jonathan, "You look like a dad blat fool!" the summer begins to become unpredictable. Why are there dead cats in Bell Rock Park? How can you rescue a little girl with a frozen lasagna? Will Jonathan remember what he learned in his CPR class? Will his friend Bonnie become a famous singer? And will Mr. Caliberti ever learn the difference between truth and fiction?
