Taking Delilah

Delilah Barrow was late. Again. This was the fourth shift in as many weeks. She'd be fired. And in this rural area of southeast New Mexico, jobs were hard to come by. Just like in the movies, salvation in the form of an old station wagon appeared. Delilah was hesitant to accept the family's help. She was also desperate to get to work. Despite her apprehension she got in the car... ...for what might end up being the last car ride of her life. Warning: This story depicts realistic violence with real consequences.
