Mystery Lady Striving to make a go of a village teashop after his previous career had come to an unscheduled halt, Paul Hunt seemed to be making fair progress-until a series of unwelcome events threw him off track. Chief among them was his discovery of a murder. The victim was the Mystery Lady of Prior's Farm, who turned out to be something more than an old acquaintance, and while Paul was not exactly heartbroken by her demise, it certainly raised complications for him. Especially when the murder weapon was found in his vehicle, bearing his fingerprints. Meanwhile, strange noises at his cottage were giving him sleepless nights, and to cap it all, his teashop was raided and vandalized, without apparent motive. Another puzzle hung over the sudden interest in the work of a young local artist whom Paul was trying to promote. Soon he was floundering in a morass of investigation that was finally to threaten his life and unveil the secrets surrounding the Mystery Lady.
