Nineteen-year-old Jason King Jr. struggles to make sense of the modern world. Possessed with an insatiable work ethic and an innate aversion to technology, he has very little in common with his peers. Instead, he lives by principles gleaned from his parents, values his mother and father formed during their shadowy vigilante past. Having turned down a full-ride wrestling scholarship after graduating high school, Junior works odd landscaping jobs for cash as he searches for purpose.Then comes troubling news.
After a lifetime of war, his father, Jason King, receives a bleak diagnosis, spurring Junior to set off on a journey he’s always longed to take. With his parents’ blessing, he goes forth into the world on his own odyssey, determined to make the most of his life while he’s physically able. He doesn’t know if he’ll live up to King’s legacy. All he knows is that he has the capacity and the will to put wrongs right.
So that’s just what he’ll do until the wheels fall off.
