The Three Laws and the Golden Rule

(1898)
A collection of stories by

Robertson draws upon his own rich and wild experience as a seaman on the Atlantic to write a collection of sea tales including: The Hairy Devil (sea horror), Slumber of the Soul (submerged personality), Survival of the Fittest (miraculous seamanship). The title story of a feral boy and feral girl could well have inspired Burroughs's book about Tarzan.
