‘Um… Can I talk with Nico?’ I say, rather than answer the question about graduating. ‘And… probably Century, as well,’ I add, glancing at the time controlling Hall leader a bit hesitantly.
The rest of the group look at me, and then at each other. They don’t move.
‘Son, if there’s something wrong with your powers, we’re all going to want to know,’ Century says.
I let out a sigh. ‘Yeah, I thought you would say something like that,’ I admit. Aubrey comes forward, but I hold up my hands, stopping her. ‘It’s not exactly… BAD… really? But there’s been this thing bugging me for a while, now, and… I’m sort of wondering if I might be going through a growth spurt.’
A green light flashes over me, and I try not to make a face as Nico pulls up a hologram with a readout of my stats. I can’t help but groan, though, as Alyssa, Jonas, and Aubrey go to his side to look at it, as well.
