‘Compass of Finding…I am Charlotte Omandi, Captain of the Starship Bladerunner, and I command you to take us…to where we can do the most good.’

With those fateful words, Bladerunner’s captain placed herself and her crew in the hands of providence. They left Londë in the care of its new Sentinel, Tahlexi Evergarden, and once more braved the void between worlds.

Within days, the ship and crew found themselves entering yet another strange new universe but one with unexpected similarities to Earth’s own. Shortly after their arrival, William Thorne implores Captain Omandi to deviate from the Compass’ path.

Her fateful decision sets them on a course where angels, quite literally, fear to tread. They encounter unexpected allies and advisors, which ultimately lead to the planet Icaria.

Unlike Londë, Icaria has a striking similarity to Earth…some thousand years ago. It is a land of castles, lords, guilds, and assassins. A land ruled by a leader of immense power, who governs by equally powerful threats.

The self-titled, Bolamin the Just, has mastered Icarian alchemy in all its forms to become the planet’s undisputed leader, but it was not always so.

In an all but forgotten age, a benevolent herald brought alchemy as a gift given freely to all. Greed and avarice corrupted the herald’s intent, driving Icaria into centuries of darkness.

Rejoin Charlotte, William, and the crew of Bladerunner, as they strive to set right what had gone wrong, and to, literally, do the most good. Along the way, two key members of the crew will have long-held preconceptions tested as they encounter beings of myth and legend. Ultimately, to achieve Icaria’s restoration, the captain and her crew must harken well to the Echoes of Ancient Alchemy.
