Finn spent one hundred years as a tree. Now, a silent mercenary seems to know more about her past than she does. Can they unravel a secret important enough to send shockwaves across a war-torn land?
After a century spent as a tree, Finn awakens with no memories of the woman she was before. A cantankerous conjurer with a dark past takes her in, but she cannot remain hidden forever. Flashes of memory urge her to find answers.
Her search leads her to Iseult, a sellsword who seems to know more about Finns past than hes letting on. Unfortunately, he doesnt know about the bounty on her head, but two thieves in disguise do, and they plan to act.
In order to survive, Finn must rediscover the hidden magics she doesnt want. She must unearth her deepest roots to expose the phantoms of her past, and to face the ancient prophecy slowly tightening its noose around her neck.
What readers are saying about Tree of Ages:
★★★★★ If you love Tolkien give this a read. A wonderful story that draws you in and captures the imagination.
★★★★★ It starts with a terrifically odd premise, almost like a child's tale, and grows, like the branches of a well-edited tree, from there. Must read!
★★★★★ Magic, fairies, and danger. A quest to find a stolen shroud in a world where trees are sometimes people!
Genre: Fantasy
