Nurse in Danger

It was an impulse that made Jenny Balmer decide to take a nursing post at the isolated Lakeview Nursing Home, but she soon had cause to regret the impulse. The Home was luxurious and her duties far from arduous, but the compensations did not make up for the unpleasant atmosphere of which she quickly became aware. When troubling events culminate in murder, Jenny is drawn into a web of mystery, suspicion and fear, and only the sympathy and growing affection between herself and young Dr Macrae help her to keep her balance.
