Shadow of the Past

One of the first customers to The Ginger Cat Restaurant, Maxine and Alison's new venture, was the moody-looking man they'd nicknamed 'Heathcliffe.' After several brushes, Maxine and Nick become friends. But fate pushes them apart when the shadow of Nick's past falls over them, and his ex-fiancee returns. When Nick breaks his date with Maxine to see the other woman, she attempts to stir his jealousy. But she only succeeds in pushing him further apart.
