Leaf Pond (and it's still better not to ask) has a warrant nailed to his bar's door, a festival breaking out all around him, and three of Hell's best girls in his bed. He feels fine. He also can't stop hearing a fiddle nobody's playing.
On the downside, Mr. Addison, Hell's most implacable Hunter, is lodging two hundred yards up the street and whatever's in his briefcase is getting spicy.
Oh, and the Pit's also spat out a fourth ward. Cindy. She's five foot nothing of pent-up frustration, owed a blow-out, and fully intending to have it in the middle of whatever's going on. Out of spite.
Trying to help, Brenda has opened negotiations with a haunted inn. Peggy's challenged a horse and Tammy's read the back of the warrant, which nobody else thought to do.
Last week, all Leaf had to worry about was paying for his next beer order. Those were some good times.
