It's 1988. I awake on the desert floor remembering nothing . . . I don't know my name. I don't know the date. And I have no clue as to how I got where I am.
I have no choice except to get up and start walking, hoping I'm not in some deranged episode of "The Twilight Zone." Finally, I flag down a stranger, and luckily, he's a sympathetic one. He takes me to the next town, and helps me get a start on a new life. A life with no history.
Slowly the puzzle pieces of my past start to surface, but in no particular order. It appears my past includes a husband, a baby, and an absence of two years. This brings me no peace of mind because the baby is missing, and my purported husband has nothing but loathing for me.
How can I get the answers I so desperately need to put the final pieces of this horrific puzzle in place? Who do I trust? Who do I love?
Take this journey with me. I need all the help I can get.
