Magog

Underlying his amorous adventures, and central to the novel -- its true core -- is Magog's predestined struggle with his brother Gog. Gog is everything Magog has chosen not to be: believing, innocent, and brave -- and Arthurian Knight -- and, in his brother's eyes, the relevant and obsolete. Scornful Magog has the wit to harvest the flowers of evil which Gog battles to uproot.
