As a specialty pet groomer, Tian Wilder knows exactly how to deal with frightened magical creatures. People? Not so much. Animals are easy. People expect unrealistic things like eye contact and coherent thoughts.

But when a mysterious app summons him to a midnight meeting, he finds himself face-to-face with Jai Brennaman—werewolf, restaurant owner, and the calmest male he’s ever met. Which is unfortunate since Tian is approximately one mild inconvenience away from becoming a public safety hazard.

Then, somewhere between harbor cruises and lunch dates, he steals a champion magical cow. Technically. Accidentally. Total misunderstanding.

Now he has to deal with alleged bovine crimes, feelings he doesn’t understand, and a werewolf who’s convinced that Tian isn't something to survive. He’s someone to love.

It’s fine, though. Everything will probably work out exactly how it’s supposed to. Eventually.

Just not before Tian’s chaos becomes everybody’s problem.
