One of the most nightmarish places in the world? Turns out it's not nightmare through and through. Even deep in the heart of these perilous lands, there are pockets where whole cities lie concealed beneath ancient ruins. No one gets to see them. Almost no one.
There are only two rules here, but they're non-negotiable: tread lightly—very lightly—and never wake the Forbidden Desert. And if you have business in the outside world, you don't just walk out into the open. There are other ways to get around. Strange ways though they may be… You break the rules at your own peril, and if you do, you'll live just long enough to regret it, they say. But these are the locals' problems and rules. Me? I'm just passing through.
