With Great Power Comes Extra Training
The incident of Narias getting trapped and stuck inside the Magic Dungeon raised a lot of questions. As scary as it was, Narias came back alive and grew stronger than ever, which could also be visibly seen on his physique as well. Narias was trapped inside the Magic Dungeon for almost a month, but when he came back, he looked at least two years older, more muscular, and more handsome too.
But it wasn’t only Narias’s physique that had changed on the outside. A new power was growing from inside of him too. Or maybe the incident had triggered that hidden power to finally awaken? As excited about it as Narias was, he wasn’t capable of using that new power just yet. Whenever he tried to, it would always put too much pressure on his body to the point it was too painful to bear.
As so it happened, Estella Alifur, who was feeling completely responsible for what had happened to Narias, invited him to her house to treat Narias to lunch as an apology and that’s where Narias met Estella’s grandparents too. Grandpa Yojee and Grandma Fuuji were two older cat-beast humans, with Grandma Fuuji being a very sweet and kind old lady, while Grandpa Yojee was a cheeky old cat with an additional perverted side to him. Despite Grandpa Yojee being snappy with his comments, he just loved teasing his granddaughter at every opportunity that he could find, the old cat quickly noticed there was more to Narias than met the eye. After a short sparring match, which he cleverly lured Narias into, Grandpa Yojee confirmed his suspicions and then offered to train Narias to help him get his new magic or otherwise ability under control so Narias could actually use it. Narias couldn’t let that kind of opportunity go to waste, agreeing to be trained by Estella's grandfather on the spot.
At the same time, the Magic Power Games were just around the corner, with each student club preparing for it with the utmost seriousness. Other than normal Magic Power Games competitions, they would hold the Interschool Magic Power Games every three years where the best teams from all schools around the country would gather to compete for fame and glory, and this year was that specific year. There was no doubt the competitions at Reina’s Magic Academy would be fierce, and of course, the Magic Research student club planned to participate as well.
