Ken saved Selene by using [Liminal Space] to tear out the Threadspawn from her chest only to be caught by the Harem Queen with both of them covered in blood. Thankfully, Selene survived and Ken can escape that particular problem but so many others stack up before him.
To save her he had to go against the UG, which is now poised to make his life of adventuring as difficult as possible. Behind the scenes the Heirs to the founding members of the UG put Ken and Crimson in their crosshairs.
