Whoever had said it was better to of loved and lost then to never have loved at all was full of it. Quinton still wasn’t over his loss. It didn’t help that he had the scars to remind him every day just how much he lost. Which is why he was not prepared for Chez or someone trying to kill Chez just because Quinton showed interest in the guy…but when they found they were mates all bets were off.
