Can a Christmas Cake really hold the magic to bring love?

Ever since Elizabeth Maas could remember the old widow Zook had gifted a special Christmas cake to a single girl every year before Christmas. The following year, that same girl would be married. Was it myth or magic? Elizabeth firmly believed it was magic. When her sister receives the cake and is married the following year, she’s certain of it.

When the old widow becomes frail, the community rallies to find her a caregiver. Being shy and not wanting to work outside the community, Elizabeth’s mother signs her up for the position. Elizabeth soon grows fond of the widow and finds herself becoming good friends with Sarah Zook. As they spend more time together, Elizabeth learns more about the magic of the Christmas cake and how the legend began.

Eli Miller is the charmer of the community. He has made eyes at most of the girls of eligible age. But when he turns his sights on Elizabeth, she’s terrified he’ll break her heart. The widow encourages her to open her heart and explore the possibility of love. Elizabeth soon learns that Eli isn’t the charmer he portrays himself to be and finds her wishing that this year she might receive the Christmas cake.

Can Elizabeth open her heart to love? Does the Christmas cake truly have magic? Find out now in this sweet Amish Christmas novel that will tug at your heart-strings and leave you with a warm feeling of love and joy over the festive season.
