The Case of the Missing Baby

Our intrepid Amish amateur investigator, Emma Zook, has stumbled upon a kidnapping which she is eager to solve. Emma has been employed by the Rochesters, an Englisch familye to care for their boppli, Charlie. Shortly before his first birthday, little Charlie goes missing. The kidnappers had to have help from inside the Rochester household, but who among them could have committed such a horrendous deed?

Emma engages the love of her life, erstwhile detective, Francis, who left his life in the Englisch world to join Emma's Ordnung. Francis still has friends in the force, and he helps Emma to investigate, to find the missing boppli.

This unimaginable turn of events might show Emma and Francis Gott's intention for their lives, whether they are meant to be together or not. Could Emma go forward in faith if Charlie is not returned safe and sound; What could Gott want for them, if not to spend their lives together in the Amish community, serving Him?
