The return of her childhood sweetheart challenges everything Judith thought she knew about love, loss, and loyalty.

Judith's perfect life was shattered by tragedy when Isaac died, leaving her to bring their baby, Isaiah into the world alone. But in their child, Judith found hope for the future and the Amish way of life.

After successfully battling as a single mother to keep the farming enterprise that she and Isaac had run as a team going, she finally to admit to needing some help. Accepting her brother Mark's advice to bring her childhood friend, Samuel, in to help would lead to emotions she had not expected.

Samuel had made the decision to move to his aunt's home in a far flung Amish community while courting Judith as teenagers. Now, he was ready to return to his roots and face all the memories that came with it. When his feelings for his first love resurfaced, neither had any idea how to handle the situation. Was second chance love really possible?

Amidst the tangled threads of grief, duty, and the chance for a new beginning, could love blossom once again in the heart of the Amish countryside?
