Now I'm standing barefoot in the grass, soaking wet with a towel wrapped around my body, trying to grab my dog who is running in circles like we're playing tag.
Suddenly, the back door opens and he's standing there in nothing but sweatpants, trying very hard not to laugh.
My hair towel chose that exact moment to unravel and fall on the ground.
I wanted to die.
He whistled once, and my dog ran straight to him and dropped my bra at his feet like a gift.
He picked it up off the ground, then he hands me a towel and says,
"I figured his owner would show up eventually. But I didn't expect you."
