Waiting For That Christmas With You Book 2
(2026)(The second book in the Holiday At The Bay series)
A Story by Hayley Summers
Krissy needs a break from her everyday life. A mother-daughter trip to her hometown for Christmas might be exactly what she’s looking for.
Krissy is running out of hope. With her sixteen-year-old daughter Amber’s depression worsening, she makes a desperate decision: leave Rhode Island and spend Christmas in her Georgia hometown.
But being home means reopening old wounds with her estranged sister Kelly, who’s struggling through a failing marriage and holiday stress of her own. The reunion is tense, fragile, and far from festive.
A early morning tow-truck rescue unexpectedly brings Krissy face to face with Leo, the man she loved decades ago and never truly forgot. Now grieving the loss of his wife and daughter, Leo fills his days with work and volunteering. Seeing Krissy again stirs emotions he thought were long buried.
When Kelly pushes for decorations and holiday cheer, hoping for forgiveness, healing, and hope, something unexpected happens leaving Krissy unsure if returning home was a blessing or a mistake.
Waiting For That Christmas With You is for fans of heartwarming holiday stories about second chances, later in life romance, and rediscovering the family bonds and love that enduring hardship can never fully erase.
Genre: General Fiction
