Hawks of the Sorcerer Queen
The Princess of the vine wed the King from the south by the sea. For seventy-five years they ruled, watching over their people and keeping them safe and free.
Ancient wise men wrote of a puzzle many contemplated. According to the lore, the Princess gave sage advice. Whether drought, famine, flood, wind, rebellion, or war, her counsel was acute. It appeared as if she had witnessed each catastrophe and gathered firsthand truths. That would be impossible of course. There were daily sightings of her in the castle, in the town and, in the keep.
But for all her good, what was never addressed directly in the myths, were the instances of her enemies' sudden deaths.
After eons of languishing in a forgotten archive on a dusty shelf, her secrets are exposed. Hinted at by a single phrase, scribed long ago by ink-stained fingers, it reads - Hawks of the Sorcerer Queen.
