Freshman year bites. Literally.

Barbara "Bunny" Mackie thought her biggest college problems would be student loans, cafeteria food and surviving living with two other women in a room the size of a postage stamp. She was wrong.

After rescuing a grumpy angora rabbit named Dr. Fluffy from the local animal shelter, Barbara becomes the newest Vampire Slayer, a fated warrior destined to protect humanity from the undead. There's just one problem. The slayer powers come with a cotton ball tail—among other things.

With Dr. Fluffy's help, Barbara is learning all she can about how to identify vampires and kill them...as a were-rabbit. Dodging Monty Python jokes and talking to a six-foot rabbit named Harvey, Barbara isn't sure she's going to survive her freshman year. As students begin disappearing from campus, Barbara uncovers a deadly conspiracy lurking beneath the campus. When her two roommates go missing, Barbara knows they've been taken by Drak-Cool, the leader of the local vampire nest.

In order to save them, she's going to need to rally her support around her. Dr. Fluffy, Harvey, and a vegan vampire with really good hair are all that stands between her roommates being exsanguinated or worse—becoming the brides of Drak-Cool. If she can't master her Slayer abilities, survive midterms and stop an army of vampires from turning her college into an all-you-can-eat freshman buffet, everyone she cares about could become the next item on the menu.
