Liz Connell couldn't buy a win, even if she still had any money...

A steep losing streak is taking its toll on jockey Liz Connell. Dejected, she agrees to let a rookie track reporter do a feature on her, while she teaches him about horses, starting with the difference between a filly and a colt.

Cam is in serious need of a good story, and his new billet as Track Reporter isn't likely to get him one, but as he follows Liz around, and gains her trust, he suspects her losing streak isn't just bad luck, it's deliberate. The more time Cam spends with Liz, the more neither one can deny the attraction that is out of control between them.

Someone is out to ruin Liz, and her uncle's stables. Or is it even Bill, himself, losing his touch after too many years in the biz?

This fast paced book has this pair neck and neck in a race for answers, and they find them, after a nearly fatal accident in the final turn.
