A Tale of Virtue and Vengeance
After the death, Virtue knew that she would be the one to pay in blood. While in wolf form, her father brutally killed the brother of the scarred man known as Battle. Her father’s tale makes little sense to Virtue, but she knows him to be a man of honor. And even if he were guilty, she still loves him. So Virtue offers herself to the alpha in his place. But Alpha Battle has another idea. She agrees, for what choice does she have? So she follows the trail with Battle, though she fears that even the muzzle of the most skilled Volfe tracker might not be enough to scent out the true murderer.
