ABOUT KYTHERA - The Earthforce Saga Continues...
Something very strange has been flowing out of the Mordor Void, and no one can account for it. The mysterious tidal flows that come to be called the ‘Drift,’ have now become a river, and it is coming right towards Regia-7. There is no way to stop it, nothing to shoot at or destroy, and no one seems to be able to understand what the Drift actually is—
until it reaches Regia-7 and begins to coalesce around one of that planet’s moons. The strangely biological forms they see in the Drift are just a mask. Amazing discoveries result that present the Command Staff with yet another difficult decision, one where they must face their own fears and worst impulses if they are to ever reach high enough on the tree of life to pick the forbidden fruit.
We begin this volume with a revelation of what the Drift is, and how it was strangely connected to the work of an itinerate Rock Hopper working to slow the rotation of an Asteroid Segment in the Trojans of Earth’s home system. His name was ‘Run DMC.’ The discovery he made some volumes ago will act like a key that unlocks Human understanding of what is about to happen at Regia-7, and they come to call it, ‘Kythera.’
As the story develops renewed conflict with the Khel presents itself again, but this is a war that Karpov’s normal playbooks will not be able to win. So yet another tough decision is made and then Anton Fedorov must step up in a time of growing crisis when forbidden weapons now threaten the destruction of Eden and the other key core colonies Humanity has labored so long to create.
The late Summer and early Autumn releases this year form an important trilogy:
Outbreak in August, Kythera now in September, then The Omega Factor come October. They are a must read trilogy that will end up setting the stage for what comes next, a dramatic evolutionary leap for Humanity, a great loss, and a new path of discovery that no one on the Command Staff could ever see coming. The Entire Saga is about to change over these three books.
This one will end by setting the stage for a dramatic evolutionary leap for Humanity, and this entire Space Opera as well. The first step was taken in
Outreach when Humanity decides how to end the conflict with the Colony Virus. The next step is what they will do when they discover what the Drift actually is—starting right here, in Chapter 1.
