Jon Svenson has worked as an actuary since leaving university, and has traveled extensively working in different countries along the way. He has two daughters in college and needs to write to pay for their university fees. :)
He lives alone with his rescue dog on an old cattle farm in the Pacific Northwest, and every spring he plants more fruit trees. Eventually he'll have enough fruit to get him and his family through the next apocalypse, whenever that might occur. He may not have written an apocalypse story yet, but he loves reading about them.
Because of his mathematical background, he likes to write stories that tie in mathematical concepts somehow. That may change in the future, but that's where he's at right now.
