The strong, silent type has never been my type.

Conversation is my life blood, words are my art. I don’t want a man with nothing to say.

But Ryland Sullivan looks all kinds of delectable in his jeans that fit just right, so helping him to find enough words to woo an eligible woman won’t technically be a hardship.

Especially since he’s agreed to help me understand the male perspective for my current novel—the first I’m going to publish under my actual name.

Unfortunately, perfect plans never go according to plan when I’m involved.

First, my entire family crash lands at my house for the funeral of a beloved friend I can't remember ever meeting. Then, the snowstorm of the century hits and I end up stranded at Ryland's apartment.

No matter how hard I try to push him away, he just won't go. He seems to think I need to be protected from my family.

I’m not saying it’s making me change my mind about the strong, silent type, but it might be making me appreciate more about Ryland Sullivan than how he fills out a pair of jeans.
