The strong, silent type has never been my type.

Conversation is my life blood, words are my art. I don’t want a man with nothing to say.

But Ryland Sullivan looks all kinds of delectable in his jeans that fit just right, so helping him to find enough words to woo an eligible woman won’t technically be a hardship.

Especially since he’s agreed to help me understand the male perspective for my current novel—the first I’m going to publish under my actual name.

Unfortunately, perfect plans never go according to plan when I’m involved.

First, my entire family (cousins included) crash land at my house so they can bury my mother’s pet sugar glider at the famous Catalpa Creek pet cemetery (did you know they had one of those? I didn’t). Then, the snowstorm of the century hits and not only am I snowed in with my family, but Ryland Sullivan just happens to be there too.

I’m not buying that he’s actually snowed in, but he won’t leave. He seems to think I need to be protected from my family.

I’m not saying it’s making me change my mind about the strong, silent type, but it might be making me appreciate more about Ryland Sullivan than how he fills out a pair of jeans.
