I DON’T REALLY need to introduce myself again, do I? I mean, if you don’t know who I am and what I am by now…what feckin’ story have you been reading?
With the Shifter High Council convicting Xander’s father of treason and sentencing him with the finality shifters are known for, meaning the tyrant is dead, I thought there’d be a lull in the threats to my mates and me. But like cockroaches, you
kill one, only to find there’s more lurking under the floorboards ready to break free.
Xander never wanted to be the alpha of his home pack, but when he realized the cost of him not stepping up, he did what needed to be done. Now, not only is he trying to manage the new power that taking on the mantle has unlocked, but his knowledge of pack law, and his ability to rule, are being tested within days of him being named Alpha.
And though worms are filling their squirming bodies with the rotting flesh of his father’s corpse (too gross?), the consequences of the decisions he made when alive are all falling on Xander’s shoulders. Needless to say, many of the wolves aren’t exactly cheering for a fox-shifter joining their pack. Then there’s the boards Xander’s on, especially this damn lab, Decoction, and all its nefarious deeds.
Oh, and Little Fox? She’s…well, maybe, maybe, you should just read about what she’s been up to.
