After fleeing the cruel experiments of the Horatius Group, the Atlantean hybrids have settled incognito in the small Pacific Northwest town of Eagle Ridge. They wanted peace, but soon a new enemy rises to threaten them and the women they love.

This box set contains the first three books in the series: MAGNUS, NERO, and LUCAS.

MAGNUS:

Reporter Lara is finding the limits of small-town journalism grating. After all, life in Eagle Ridge is fairly low-key and personal, not exactly the stuff of Pulitzer Prizes.

It doesn't help that her jerk boss seems determined to make her life a living hell, and he refuses to let her check into strange deliveries being made to a local Atlantean-worshipping cult, the Azilians.

Super-soldier hybrid Magnus and his people are tasting true freedom for the first time. Still on the run from the ruthless Horatius Group, they've settled in the Pacific Northwest, hoping for a fresh start, including using the cover of the nearby Azilians.

When Lara's investigation brings her face-to-face with the stunning Magnus, they find themselves drawn to each other, but both quickly realize something is happening in the woods around the hybrids' new compound that may threaten not only the hybrids, but everyone in town.

NERO:

Nero sees a stranger when he looks in the mirror. After years as a twisted beast-like creature, the hybrid soldier looks like any other human thanks to an injection by a dying Horatius Group scientist.

The change in appearance didn't wipe away his guilt over his time with the ruthless Group. It also doesn't make other hybrids trust him. They still see the beast enforcer for the Group and have no qualms about telling him, including Nyx, the only woman he's ever desired.

Nyx isn't about to accept Nero's anything but a Horatius Group spy waiting for his opportunity to sell them all out. She's also certain he's trying to steal her position in the hybrid community. Unfortunately, she can't seem to get her traitorous body to stop being attracted to him.

The Group may or may not be targeting the hybrids, but the suspicious Azilians still linger nearby, harboring a weapon of unimaginable power. A chance recon mission against the cult forces Nero and Nyx to confront both their enemies and their passion.

LUCAS:

When Taylor Mills divorced her cheating husband, she never expected her town to turn against her. Now it seems like not putting up with a philander isn't just going to hurt her, but also the family ranch. Though the hunky Lucas is a bright spot in her day, she doesn't have time to even think about dating.

Hybrid Lucas knows Taylor is meant to be his Vestal, his true mate, but he's not been able to do more than flirt with her during meat deliveries.

The sassy redhead and her hot body have consumed his thoughts since their first meeting. He stumbles over ways to get to know Taylor without revealing his hybrid nature and putting all the local hybrids at risk.

Time is their enemy. Desperate and out of options to save the family ranch, Taylor is forced to deal with one of the few groups that frighten the hybrids: the deadly Azilian cult.

Concern born of passion may not be enough to save them from the threats coming their way.
