Long ago, winged creatures fought each other in a war which claimed entire worlds. Today, those creatures, wingless and
earthbound, exist among humans, living human lives, and using mortals for their own ends.
Teryl Gray, bartender at the Angels' Share, has discovered her boss is one of these creatures. And now he's sent her to
a haunted house for no real purpose she can see. Yet she is beginning to realize that the house is somehow tied to an
ancient war that had nothing to do with her, or humans, but which is about to be re-ignited here on Earth.
If Teryl and her friends can survive the spirits in the house, can they also survive the opening shot in a renewed war
between angels?
