Teryl Gray's world has fallen apart. Four days ago, she discovered her safe, if somewhat seedy, world, was occupied by powerful beings, two of whom tried to kill her lover, Castro.Some of these creatures, including her boss, the owner of the Angels' Share bar where Teryl works, have plans for her. What those plans are, however, remains a mystery. A mystery Teryl is not sure she wants to solve.Now, her boss wants her help to find one of the others like himself, one who has gone missing. But to help, Teryl may have to give up the one thing she can't afford to lose: herself.Can Teryl afford to trust him? Or the others? And if she can, which ones?
