A novel by

Lizabeth, known as Beth to her friends, Steele takes over the family bookstore when her mom moves to a senior living apartment several miles away. Beth loves books, especially the copies of Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility that she lovingly displays in clear tamperproof display cases in her bookstore.

Beth spends her day at the bookstore with her 55-pound Samoyed, Bailey. One morning, when Beth opens the back door, Bailey bounds into the store first and returns with blood on his muzzle.

A stolen book, a dead man, and no idea who the culprit is sets Beth, her cousin C.J., Skip, the town's security professional, and Joseph Delaney, an insurance adjuster, on a quest to find the responsible party.

This is a sweet, cozy, romantic book.
