Will a terrible case of mistaken identity end up as the start of a love story?

Lance Hollis and his small gang were failures as gunslingers and holdup men. They needed a better plan. Abducting the banker’s daughter and holding her for ransom seemed easy enough.

Two of Hollis’ crew abducted Lissa Brayson and forced her to marry Hollis by proxy, assuring that she couldn’t testify against Hollis if the law caught up to him.

Everything went well until they returned with Hollis’ new bride and discovered they had abducted the wrong woman. Hollis was now married to a saloon girl.

Deciding life on the wrong side of the law wasn’t what he thought it would be, Hollis returns to his childhood home and ranch taking his new bride with him.

They intend to file for an annulment once they figure out a good reason. But, in the meantime, life has a way of changing people and their hearts.

Can a former gunslinger and abducted saloon girl find love and happiness on a Wyoming ranch?
