(A book in the Lessons in Love series)
A novel by

Nineteen-year-old math major Shawna Mercer has always been better with equations than dating. She’s smart, shy, and perfectly happy spending her evenings studying—or coloring Disney princesses. So when the ridiculously handsome skateboarder from her differential equations class crashes into her (literally) and asks her to start studying with him, she knows better than to assume he could actually be interested in her.

Joshua is supposed to be focused on one thing: passing the math class he failed last year. But the brilliant, sweet girl tutoring him quickly becomes a much bigger distraction than differential equations. And after another guy starts showing interest in Shawna, Joshua decides he’s done waiting. He wants to take her on a real date and prove that he’s been falling for her all along.

Their first date is everything Shawna never knew she wanted. But the more wonderful Joshua turns out to be, the more she's convinced that the numbers don’t add up. In her mind, their dating ratio is completely unbalanced.

Now Joshua has to convince the girl who can find any variable that love isn’t something she can solve.

The Dating Ratio is a closed-door/kisses only college STEM romantic comedy and prequel to The Friendship Variable.
