With his wife taking a job as a medical examiner, Detective Dillon Storm is getting used to a whole new future. When Charlotte, his first girlfriend and the mother of his nephew, goes missing, he's threatened to be pulled back into the past.

With his mind spinning and his entire life turned upside down, Dillon must at once do his best to find Charlotte while dealing with the very personal wreckage her disappearance has left behind. And when evidence leads him to believe her vanishing might have connections to someone in this town he never imagined, Dillon will have to travel deep into the Gulf to find the answers, and hopefully Charlotte, in time to save the day.
