The Girl in the Second World

(2017)
A novel by

Floating, drifting, powerless to comprehend the world's definition of time, lost souls aimlessly visit their biological families in their dreams to keep what life is left in their desire to exist.
Their world is doomed in shadows of obscurity, separated in communities forbidden to interact, unable to touch and smell like humans. Endless dark days and nights change when a one-armed little girl named Hope is welcomed into the family.
Hope's exuberance turns her spiritual parents' world into turmoil and chaos and in many ways, happiness and joy. There was a world to explore, and the thought of discovering more answers to the mysteries that puzzled her filled Hope with unending anticipation.
She believed each day was a gift. She wasn't like the others, suppressed by days and nights of endless seclusion and loneliness. The youth and zest she possessed was her defense against the adults' moods of depression.
And what a surprise Hope had when she dared to pretend to play soccer with the little human girls and boys!
And what a moment she experienced when she discovered berries in a remote part of the world could cure a human sickness!
But what would you do, knowing the same world that sent your soul to the deepest dungeon of despair, needed your help?
