Dealing with magicians was not on Tallie’s schedule when she showed up with her mop and feather duster…
Tallie’s favorite bookstore, Cupboard Maker Books, is being sold, and the owner has asked her to clean it thoroughly so the buyers will be impressed. But the mystery section gets a little more mysterious when they find a dead woman on the floor, outlined by one of those fake body outlines people see on television shows.
But this isn’t going to be over in an hour, and there’s no script about who this woman is and how she managed to get into a locked store where no one was supposed to be.
Tallie and crew will have to dive deep into a past full of magicians and secrets and lives that were changed overnight to figure out whodunnit, and this time, maybe more importantly, why.
Genre: Cozy Mystery
