You’d think that after solving a hundred mysteries, a cat might earn a quiet nap or two. But no. The universe—specifically the humans of Hampton Cove—had other plans for yours truly.
It all starts when Gran suddenly takes up smoking. Yes, smoking. In secret. Inside Odelia’s hedge. Which Dooley and I promptly extinguish with a garden hose (long story).
