Victor is liking his new life more and more. He can do what he wants here, without all the big, bloody politics, without struggling to be this world’s Most Important Person. It was all just the way he liked it: researching, working, and of course helping those in need.
It was like this world had invented the profession of veterinarian especially for him.
But Victor can‘t completely avoid doing battle. There are always those whose lives are under threat and he can’t just walk on past.
If everything keeps on this way, Victor may well be able to say this is the best planet for someone like himself.
But can anything really be this easy in the universe? Or was fate preparing fresh challenges for him?
