My name used to be Victorian. I was the legendary Chimera Master who devoted his life to his calling. I never liked how people pursued those different from themselves. I changed that… My chimeras didn’t allow themselves to be pushed around, the way I was later on.
Now I’m Victor, the owner of a veterinary clinic on the outskirts of the imperial capital, in the world where I fled for some rest and relaxation. Even someone like me needs a break from time to time.
Yes, it’s what I wanted. Even the most powerful and audacious of creators needs a holiday. And this world, replete as it was with unique genetic material, seemed perfect. ‘It’s the ideal world for you,’ said a certain goddess who was advising me to come here.
But she forgot to mention one thing: in this ‘ideal world,’ even as a veterinarian I had to remember how to create monsters just in order to survive.
