Jack Castle, private eye, is looking forward to a quiet day fishing on the River Thames, while evading his debt collectors. Last month's bills were covered by a generous fee from a wealthy client for finding an antique jade rabbit figurine. His current client is an eccentric lady, who has lost her prize winning Khao Manee cat and is paying Jack a big retainer to cover his expenses for the next month.
