A Sweet Destruction
(2026)(The second book in the Bonded Beyond Worlds series)
A novel by Rory L Scott
A Sweet Destruction is the second in a series following an overarching plot over the course of standalone love stories, and is a Soul Mates, reluctant allies, forced proximity romance full of fantasy and science fiction elements. This book follows Ford and Esme.
The Bridge—the fabled connection between worlds and the start of a decades-long war. The supernatural rip in space of time, only traversed by those connected down to their very souls.
The paranimas, those with a perfect match between their souls, were the best of us. Rare, praised, and the designation that haunted me for years. A blessing, people called it. A curse, I knew it to be. Especially when my paranima had rejected me the moment he saw me.
Eight years and a battle against that Bond later, I’d learned to manage it, to keep it a secret from him. Until a swell in war ripped forced me to confront everything I’d kept hidden. With our livelihood and that of our world at risk, my desire to shy away from the Bond was no longer an option.
I just hoped I could survive it this time. It had nearly killed me once.
Genre: Paranormal Romance
