Enica lay down in the hole, feeling stuck, and exhaled deeply and shut her eyes as her life flashed in her mind. She now knew Smiley was the only one who truly loved her, even in his messed up cheating way; he never beat her in the shower with an extension cord, or belt, like Jeffery. Smiley was a gangster, but handled her with love and care. Enica smiled briefly as she thought of him, then opened her eyes as she waited for the gunshot to end her life by the people she trusted most. I guess Jeffery was right. Enica thought to herself as his words played in her mind and she knew deep down it was true: ‘You only have me B****!''
