Josie Toadfern, protagonist of my cozy Stain-Busting Mysteries, is a stain-removal expert and Laundromat owner in Paradise, Ohio. She's also incurably nosey. When I started toying with the idea of putting Josie in the limelight of “reality” TV, it seemed only fitting that she would end up on a program called “Everybody's Business,” and from the experience learn that some things are actually nobody's business. The result was “Spin Cycle,” a mystery story that is, I hope, a fun read while also being a bit of a send-up of what Josie calls “the theatre of the cruel.”
