They called it the most haunted building in Tennessee. That's why they came.
Joely Kincaid is the one behind the camera. She runs the tech for Dead Signal, the ghost-hunting channel that went viral after one impossible clip of a rocking chair moving on its own. Now a streaming network is dangling a life-changing deal, and all the team has to do is get through Halloween night.
Twelve hours. Locked inside Ashland State Hospital, an abandoned asylum on a ridge above Keller's Gap. Livestreaming until dawn.
Joely doesn't believe in ghosts. She believes in data.
Her team is the closest thing she has to family — Bryce, the charming host who won't stop checking his phone. Nia, the gentle psychic the viewers adore. And Cal, her college ex, the one person who has seen her at her very worst and stayed anyway.
Then a voice on the spirit box whispers her name. A cold spot appears beside Nia's chair. Someone carves JOELY into a door on the third floor. And with the gate chained until morning and a hundred thousand strangers watching, Joely starts to realize the hauntings aren't random.
Something in this building has chosen her. Or someone has.
Joely is sure she's the only one seeing clearly. She's sure about a lot of things tonight.
Cold Spot is a twisty, binge-worthy psychological thriller about friendship, fraud, and what happens when you can't trust your own mind.
Genre: Mystery
