‘...and they worshipped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?’’ Revelation 13:4

For as long as we can remember, Humanity and Supernaturals have lived harmoniously together. Until the False Prophet, an immortal masking as the anti-Christ from the book of Revelation, emerges and poisons human kind against us. Using humanity’s fear of the end times, the False Prophet rallies the humans under one common goal: exterminate the supernaturals and prevent the end of days as depicted in their Bible.

With nowhere left to turn, my supernatural friends and I retreat to the one place nobody will ever think to search'''the place where it all started for our kind: Grimthorne Academy. It was the first place they shut down when this all started, and it’s the last place they’ll look for those of us that have escaped. During the day, we spend our time training and strengthening our magic; at night, we search for any surviving supernaturals that need our help.

The False Prophet seems to have thought of everything in her plans for utter destruction, but she never considered the supernaturals right under her nose, planning to fight back. There is no one else left, we are the only thing standing between Eliana and her evil schemes. If we don’t stop her, the world as we know it will be no more. Trying to outsmart her feels impossible, but failure is not an option.

The Boys meets The Ghost Whisperer in the first installment of this dark academia dystopian fantasy duology. Drawing from the book of revelation and ancient Mesopotamian lore, we follow Greer and Eliana as they face off against each other with the fate of the world dangling in the balance.
